LEGO

The Hungarian Natural History Museum (Magyar Természettudományi Múzeum) has all the normal attractions of your normal natural history museum: hundreds of thousands of specimens, from mammals to insects and largely from the Carpathian Basin, stuffed, preserved, mounted, or encased....

It also features some pretty cool exhibits from time to time that don't seem to have much to do with "natural life" (dead or alive). One such exhibit would be the LEGO one featured presently. You got some Star Wars characters, Parliament on the Danube, Bach, a Batmobile, a massive commercial airliner branded with "United States of America." 🙂

The museum is also next to the beautiful Orczy Park... no large animals roaming there, but you are likely to see some live butterflies or birds or squirrels.... no chipmunks. 😞

The Hungarian Natural History Museum
1083 Budapest, Ludovika tér 2-6.

For those who are in fact big LEGO fans, I would also suggest a tour at the LEGO Manufacturing site in Nyíregyháza.
